Mike was a biomedical researh lab manager for 20+ years before joining the University of Iowa's Office of the Vice President for Research in 2012 as the IACUC Training & Complaince Manager. He has been the RIO for the UI since 2021, and was appointed as the Director of the Research Integrity and Security Office and the UI's Researh Security Officer (RSO) in 2023.
