The 2024 revision of 42 CFR Part 93 addresses several topics that influence the balance between confidentiality, respondent due process, retaliation, and efforts to promote the common good. Some examples include: multi-respondent matters, interview transcripts, and disclosures at the end of a proceeding. This session will address these and other issues related to confidentiality, with a particular emphasis on exploring areas of increased specificity in the Final Rule, and examining the roles that institutional policies will play in providing clarity and guidance to our communities.
