Dan is the Director for Research Integrity at Harvard Medical School (HMS). He coordinates assessments of possible research misconduct for HMS and its affiliates, and collaborates with practicing scientists and institutional stakeholders to support the development and implementation of resources for research integrity and reproducibility. He has served on the ARIO Board of Directors since 2019. His training in the genetics of embryonic development (Ph.D. Biology, M.I.T.) and nearly 15 years' experience in biomedical publishing (Cell Press) inform his perspective on research rigor and transparency.
