Shelley is the Associate Vice President for Research Compliance at Indiana University and previously served as RIO from 2007 – 2024. Prior to being a RIO, Shelley served as the Director of the Clinical Research Compliance office and as Director of the Human Subjects office. She has been active in ARIO since its inception and has been in the research compliance field since 1995. Shelley served on the ARIO board from April of 2023 to 2025.
