Tracy has been working in research administration for more than 20 years. She is the University of Akron's Research Integrity Officer (RIO) and also oversees their research compliance and security programs. She previously worked at Case Western Reserve University where she served as their RIO and directed research training programs and oversaw the work of the Conflict of Interests committee and the Research Security Program. Tracy has collaborated with the Office of Research Integrity (ORI) to develop training programs and educational events for the national research integrity community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders and a master’s degree in Audiology, both from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to working in Research Administration, Tracy spent 11 years working as an intraoperative neurophysiologist in a private practice in Northeast Ohio and at Washington University in St. Louis.
