Janet Leppala is the Research Integrity Officer at Eastern Michigan University, where she leads research misconduct, COI, IRB, IACUC, and export control oversight. She specializes in practical, learner‑centered compliance education and in developing policies that prevent and address noncompliance. She is an active member of ARIO and Chair of the 2026 ARIO Conference Planning Committee.
