Michelle Benson is the Research Compliance Officer at Hackensack Meridian Health, a position she has held since 2020. Previously, she was at Columbia University for six years, as the Assistant Director for Research Integrity and Compliance. Her diverse responsibilities encompass managing research misconduct, integrity issues, conflicts of interest, export controls, research security, and overseeing a post-IRB approval auditing program. Michelle holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and she completed her undergraduate degree at Ohio University.
