Despite the benefit of institutional Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) programs to foster environments promoting research integrity, there is a lack of professional development opportunities for administrators responsible for RCR programs.

To support new and seasoned administrators, a virtual RCR Administrator Workshop was held in May and June 2025 hosted by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with funding from the Public Health Service’s Office of Research Integrity. The workshop featured presenters on a range of topics and developed tools for administrators to immediately use in their programs. This session presents an overview of this inaugural RCR Administrator Workshop and plans to support future sustainable RCR Administrator professional development.
