Andrew Read is the Senior Vice President for Research at Penn State, Evan Pugh University Professor of Biology and Entomology, and formerly Eberly Professor of Biotechnology. As SVP, he oversees research across twelve colleges, seven research institutes, and the Applied Research Lab. Andrew has authored over 250 publications and is an elected fellow of multiple societies and academies. Originally from New Zealand, he holds a PhD in evolutionary biology from Oxford University.
