Kaley Klanica, J.D, M.P.H., brings over 20 years experience advising academic and healthcare institutions on research integrity and compliance. She joined the University of Minnesota's Office of the General Counsel in 2019 where she advises the university's research complaince operations and partners closely with the Research Integrity Officer and the research integrity team on all research misconduct matters, including updating institutional policies, modernizing review procedures, and embedding a strong culture of compliance across complex and diverse research environments. Prior to her role at UMN, she severed in similar legal and compliance roles at a large health system in Minneapolis and a large academic health system in Boston. She earned her J.D. and M.P.H. from Boston University and her B.A. from Haverford College.
