Deepika Bhatia is a nationally recognized research compliance and research security leader with more than 20 years of experience in research administration, regulatory affairs, and institutional compliance. As Associate Vice President for Research Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at Emory University, she oversees research integrity, research security, export controls, conflicts of interest and commitment, and animal research compliance programs. Serving as Emory’s Research Integrity Officer, Chief Research Compliance Officer, and Chief Research Security Officer, she leads institution-wide compliance and risk management initiatives. Deepika is also the Principal Investigator for Emory’s NSF SECURE Center award and a frequent national speaker on research compliance and security.
