James DuBois, DSc, PhD, is the Bander Professor of Medical Ethics and Director of the Bioethics Research Center at Washington University in St. Louis. He is the Founding Director and President of the Professionalism and Integrity in Research Program (PI Program), which coaches researchers with allegations of compliance or integrity violations. He has received more than $19 million in grant funding from the National Institutes of Health, the US Office of Research Integrity, and foundations for his work on ethical and social issues in research and healthcare.
